Landscape painting workshop for beginners

Join us on Sunday, 28 Sep, 10am - 3pm for a day of painting, sharing food, and reconnecting to the landscape, hosted by regenerative farmer and artist Courtney Young at her farm in Lilliput, Victoria, home of Woodstock Flour and Slow Grown Foods.

This beginner-friendly workshop invites you to explore landscape painting as a way to understand the world around you, reset and play. You’ll be guided through a farm walk, the fundamentals of landscape painting, and a series of fun drawing and painting exercises.

No art experience is needed, just a willingness to look closely and have a go.

Who it’s for:

This workshop is designed for farmers, rural community members and anyone curious about painting. No experience necessary.

Tickets:

  • General admission: $150

  • Primary producer subsidy: $75 - for farmers and those working on the land

This workshop is partly funded by the National Centre for Farmer Health Look Over the Farm Gate Community Grants Program to support farmer mental health, wellbeing and social connection in regional areas.
